Naniniwala si ACT-CIS partylist Rep. Eric Yap na hindi na kailangang bawiin ang ipinataw nitong pabuya sa mga dating ikinonsiderang suspek sa pagkasawi ni Christine Dacera.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Yap na maikokonsidera na itong “off the table,” at nag-alok lamang naman daw ito ng P100,000 pabuya para lumantad ang mga dawit sa kaso.
Kinilala din ng mambabatas ang pakikipagtulungan ng mga respondent sa imbestigasyon.
“We suppose that there is no need to recall per se the bounty placed on the persons of interest in the death of Christine Dacera. In principle, the bounty is now considered as moot and now off the table as they have already voluntarily presented themselves and now cooperating in the investigation,” saad ni Yap.
“It is important to note that the bounty was placed as soon as the news came out, when most of the individuals who were with Christine that night were nowhere to be found,” dagdag nito.
“The fact that there is one person who died, regardless of what transpired that night, is enough to conduct an investigation to discern the truth. Together with the family and friends of Christine, we will continue until justice is served.”
Nitong Miyerkoles nang pakawalan ang tatlong nahuling sinasabing suspek sa pagkasawi ni Dacera dahil ayon sa ayon sa Makati court, kulang umano ang ebidensya sa pagpatay at panghahalay sa biktima.
Sinabi naman ng Department of Justice na kanila nang itinuturing ang mga dating suspek na respondent sa kaso.
