Manny Pacquiao is locked into only one date, August 21.
It is the only caption he needed on one of his recent Instagram posts as he continues to hit the pad with his fellow legend and long-time trainer Freddie Roach in the Wild Card Gym.
Pacquiao, at 42-year old, is continuing to defy the law of father time, especially in sports, as he is showing no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
The funny thing is that he doesn’t fight just some boxer; he wanted a fight against the current best.
The eight-division world champion will face a prime, an unbeaten, and the unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr.
Although he is a living legend, he remains to love being the underdog. On his last fight, two years ago, he was also the challenger against the then WBA champ Keith Thurman.
Now that he is the challenger against Spence, will he be able to take it as well? Pacquiao might have the chances of still unifying all welterweight belts if he wasn’t stripped of his belt after a long absence inside the ring.
Nonetheless, the Filipino fighter is relentlessly training and motivating for his next fight.
