“I want to fight the best to add to my legacy.” This is simple and clear.

Manny Pacquiao has no time to deal with a Youtuber-turned-boxer like Jake Paul as he is only focused on fighting the top boxers, not the newbies who are making money out of it.

However, despite his straightforward response, Pacquiao aired his praise to the potential of Jake Paul in boxing.

“No, I will not. I want to fight my best to add to my legacy. I’m not underestimating (Jake) Paul, but he won’t have a long boxing experience. So in that point, he’s already at a disadvantage to fight in boxing.”

The eight-division world champion has his way to turn down a possible fight in an excellent way without sounding arrogant.

In the earlier months, Pacquiao has already taken shots on exhibition fights, aiming to hit his rival Floyd Mayweather, who fought Logan Paul that went to distance.

“I’m not like other boxers who fight only for money. I’m not like other boxers who fight only for the money. They will challenge non-boxers just for the money. As for me, I want a real fight. I fight to challenge the best. If we only talk about money, then I should have just fought a non-boxer. If we only talk about money, why would I choose a legend, an undefeated boxer? It is a real fight, not like other fights where you go up against someone who is not a boxer,” he said.
