Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo encouraged the Department of Justice to take actions following Ben Tulfo’s refusal to return the P60 million ad placement paid by Department of Tourism (DOT).
The said transaction was made between Tulfo’s Bitag Media and former Tourism Sec. Wanda Teo last year.
Panelo said that the palace wants the laws to be enforced and obeyed because there are no “sacred cows” in the government whether it is a friend or an ally.
He also added that it is DOJ’s call on how soon they want the amount returned.
“The Palace always wants that laws are not only enforced but are obeyed to its fullest extent. As we said there are no sacred cows in this government, friends or allies,â€
