Tiniyak ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr, ang kaniyang commitment para sa elite force ng Philippine Army ang Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) Regiment, lalo at ang unconventional warfare strategy ay malaking tulong sa kinakaharap na banta ng bansa.
Sinabi ng commander-in-chief ang “unassailable commitment” ng pamahalaan ay ang pagpapalakas sa kanilang mga kakayahan at pagtiyak na maayos ang kapakanan ng mga sundalo at ng kanilang pamilya.
“We assure you of the administration’s unassailable commitment and that of your Commander-in-Chief’s support of all your undertakings, strengthening your capabilities and ensuring your welfare and that of your families,” pahayag ni Pang. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Pinangunahan ng Pang. Marcos ang pagdiriwang ng ika-61st founding anniversary ng special forces sa Fort Magsaysay sa Nueva Ecija.
“We are grateful to have witnessed the efforts that leveraged your expertise and demonstrate the core principles in the performance of your duties. Your mastery of unconventional warfare strategy has become all the more relevant and significant in view of the complex threats our nation now faces,” ayon sa Pangulong Marcos.
Hinimok din ng Commander-in-Chief ang mga sundalong special forces na palagiang nakahanda tumulong sa mga Pilipino sa panahon ng krisis.
Pinapurihan din ng Pangulo ang mga sundalong special forces sa kanilang tulong para iligtas ang nasa 360 na mga pasahero ng MV Lady Mary Joy 3 na nasunog nuong buwan ng Marso sa karagatan ng Basilan.
“You have exemplified self-sacrifice and resilience, going beyond the call of duty to safeguard communities towards the attainment of internal security and the peace of the Republic,” ayon sa Pangulo.
