Inanunsiyo ng Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) ang magsisilbing Presidential spokesperson sa ilalim ng Marcos administration.
Sa pulong balitaan, ipinakilala ni OPS office-in-charge Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil si Daphne Oseña Paez bilang susunod na tagapagsalita ng pangulo.
Si Paez ay anak ng dating piloto ni dating Pangulong Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Sr. na si Col. Delio Osena.
Una ng naging maugong ang pangalan ni Paez sa pagka-presidential spokesperson bukod sa dalawa pang pangalan partikular nina Gilbert Remulla at Atty. Adel Tamano.
Si Daphne Oseña Paez ay dating show host sa isang TV station.
Nagsimula ang television career ni Paez bilang reporter noong 1990 at naging bahagi Ng English late-night newscast bilang siyang nagbibigay ng ulat sa lagay ng panahon.

This is where I trained in Malacañang during FVR’s time but after that I focused on lifestyle but during my lifestyle hosting stint my heart was in public service. For 12 I served the Philippines as a goodwill ambassador and special advocate for children focusing on maternal health, children’s nutrition and the last one was online sexual abuse of children. All these issues have been close to me and to have this opportunity to work at this time with the government and of course the likes of Secretary Uy and the Cabinet is very exciting and it’s indeed an honor to, and both a challenge for me.I look forward to the next coming months and years,” wika ni Paez.
