Nagpaabot nang pagbati ang Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) sa Pinoy gymnastics athlete si Carlos Yulo matapos matagumpay na masungkit ang gintong medalya sa nakaraaang 49th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships sa Germany.
Ayon kay Communications Sec. Martin Andanar, sumasaludo ang kanyang buong tanggapan sa nakamit na tagumpay ni Yulo bilang kauna-unahang Pinoy nakapag-uwi ng gold medal sa World Gymnastics Championship.
“We at the PCOO salute the talent and determination to succeed displayed by Carlos Yulo with his gold medal win at the 49th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships,” ani Andanar.
“Not only has he done the sport of gymnastics in the Philippines proud, Yulo has also done his country proud by being the first Filipino to win a gold medal in the event.”
Dahil sa kanyang panalo, qualified na ang 19-year old athlete sa 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Pero bago ito ay sasabak muna si Yulo sa 30th Southeast Asian Games na gaganapin dito sa Pilipinas.
