Humakot ng awards ang pelikulang “Mindanao” sa katatapos lamang na Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019 Gabi ng Parangal na ginanap sa New Frontier Theater sa Cubao, Quezon City.
Mayroong kabuuang 11 awards ang nakuha ng nasabing pelikula kabilang na ang Best Picture, Best Actress sa pamamagitan ni Judy Ann Santos, Best Actor si Allen Dizon at tinanghal namang Best Director na si Brillante Mendoza.
Nakuha rin ng pelikula ang FPJ Memorial Award, Best Visual Effects, Best Sound, Best Child Performer na si Yuna Tangod, Gender Sensitive Award, Gatpuno Antonio J Villegas Cultural Award at Best Float.
Nasungkit naman ng pelikulang “Write About Love” ang 2nd Best Picture at 3rd Best picture ang “Sunod”.
