Promoters cannot be stopped by the pandemic coronavirus in bid to continue the boxing match between unified heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua against Kubrat Pulev while assuring safety for both parties.
A Roman Amphitheater in Croatia emerges as the new hot venue for the audience-less bout.
Currently, Pulev’s manager is on active talk for the venue.
“We are discussing Croatia, there is a unique Roman stadium – Pula Arena, there and we are in active talks,” said Ivaylo Gotsev.
The fight was supposed to happen in June but the pandemic halted the event and now is tentatively pushed back to August or September.
Winner of the fight could possibly stage the undisputed heavyweight match with the winner of Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder III.
