MANILA – Umakyat na sa higit 9,000 ang namatay sa bansa matapos tamaan ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), ayon sa Department of Health (DOH).
Ngayon araw nag-ulat ang ahensya ng 66 na bagong namatay sa sakit, kaya ang total death cases ay sumampa pa sa 9,021.
Ang kabuuang bilang naman ng confirmed COVID-19 cases ay sumirit pa sa 462,815 dahil sa 1,314 na bagong tinamaan ng sakit.
Pero hindi pa raw kasali sa iniulat ang datos ng 10 laboratoryo na bigong makapagpasa ng report kahapon.
“10 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on December 21, 2020.”
Balik sa Quezon City ang pwesto bilang may pinakamataas na numero ng bagong kaso ng COVID-19 na umabot sa 93. Sumunod ang Rizal (89), Benguet (78), Bulacan (61), at Davao City (60).
Nasa 24,375 pa ang mga nagpapagaling o active cases.
Ang bilang naman ng mga gumaling ay nasa 429,419 na dahil sa 247 new recoveries.
“There were 4 duplicates removed from the total case count.These were recovered cases. Moreover, there were 31 cases that were previously reported as recovered but after final validation, they were deaths (31 cases).”
“There were also 2 cases that were previously reported as died but after final validation, they were recoveries (2 cases).”
