Iniimbestigahan na ng pamunuan ng Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) ang viral na video sa social media kung saan makikita dito ang dalawa umanong pulis na nakasakay sa kanilang service motorcycle na nag-uunahan sa daan at tila gumagawa ng exhibition sa Zambales.
Ayon kay PNP-HPG Director P/BGen. Alexander Tagum, hindi nila tauhan ang dalawa dahil hindi naman nakasuot ang mga ito ng angkop na uniporme tulad ng vest.
Sinabi ni Tagum na wala rin aniyang marka ng HPG ang kaliwang Pannier box na nakakabit sa naturang mga motorsiklo na nakalaan para sa Traffic Patrol Riders.
Gayunman, sinabi ni Tagum na tauhan man nila o hindi ay dapat pa ring pairalin ng mga gumagamit ng motorsiklo ang ibayong pag-iingat at disiplina.
” Ma’am, definitely these Clowns are NOT HPG Riders- coz they are Not wearing our Prescribed HPG Rider’s High Visibility Vest and there are No HPG Markings in the Right side Pannier Box attached to their Motorcycles. I have already directed our Intelligence and Investigation Division to conduct an investigation regarding this unsafe handling of Motorcycle by Traffic Police Riders and also reiterated my reminders to all my Ground Commanders to instill road discipline to all Motorcycle riders including all Traffic MC Riders, ” mensahe ni BGen.
