Posible umanong magharap sa ibabaw ng ring sina Pinoy ring icon Sen. Manny Pacquiao at si UFC superstar Conor McGregor sa susunod na taon.
Sinabi ng business manager ni Pacquiao na si Arnold Vegafria, mas malaki na ang tsansa na magtuos ang dalawa dahil parehas na silang nasa ilalim ng Paradigm Sports Management.
“With a possible fight with McGregor because they have the same company so definitely there’s a big chance. Next year na yan,” wika ni Vegafria.
“Who’s the best big mega bout? It’s either McGregor or (Floyd) Mayweather is available for the senator. If ever the fight against Mayweather doesn’t happen, at least we have another one which is McGregor. So they are in the same company so there’s a possibility that it will happen.”
Wala rin aniyang legal implications sa iba pang promotions ang bagong managerial deal ng Fighting Senator.
“Senator Manny Pacquiao’s former agreements do not legally bind him in such a way as to prevent him from pursuing certain fights with other promoters,” ani Vegafria.
“The previous agreement has no impact on the ability of Paradigm Sports to negotiate on behalf of Senator Manny Pacquiao going forward. Manny is now represented by Paradigm Sports Management , who are actively negotiating his future fight options.”
Maliban dito, sumang-ayon si Vegafria na posibleng kumita ng hanggang $250-milyon ang potential superfight dahil sa kasikatan nina Pacquiao at McGregor, maging ang excitement ng laban na maaaring makaakit ng sponsors.
