CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – A tornado cut a swath of destruction through Barangay Proper, Marogong, Lanao del Sur injuring four students and destroyed houses, government buildings, schools, and mosques.
The vicious tornado swept through 15 houses and other buildings that caused widespread damage to almost 30 homes.
Lanao del Sur Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office head Saripada Pacasum Jr., confirmed that hospital medication were already provided to Saima Victory, Jawad Camlon, Nurhada Ameraol at Nurmalia Maruhom.
Pacasum also said that affected families are currently staying with their relatives while the municipal government made sure that all their needs are being met.
Meanwhile, residents of the said Barangay are still grateful that the incident took place on Saturday afternoon as they can still monitor the tornado’s movement./ with reports from Bombo Radyo CdeO; edited by Bombo Sol Marquez.
