Bombo Radio Philippines strongly condemns the strafing done by still unidentified men board on pick up truck to the façade of Bombo General Santos Broadcast Center. Some bullets pierced and were found inside the recording room proving the possible danger to our broadcasters and technicians currently inside the headquarters.
Bombo Janjan Macailing, Station Manager of Bombo GenSan, stated that the denial of the TRO sought by Kabus Padatuon KAPA Ministries, Inc.could have been the reason for the attack. The said issue is being monitored by Bombo reporter Janjan and he vowed that no harassment can silence the lone media team that warns the people of the cons of the investment scam.
The SC decision came after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the closure of KAPA Offices nationwide after the Police and LGU’s ignored the Cease and Desist Order issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission. KAPA Founder Joel Apolinario, the mastermind of the biggest investment scam in the country, is now in hiding after a nationwide police hunt for refusal to stop the operations of the investment scheme.

Police units from nearby Bula PNP Station immediately responded and recovered several empty shells of 9mm and .45 caliber bullets. Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) later traced one bullet entered the glass jalousies of the station, hitting the double-walled glass of the station’s recording room which is just behind the office of the Station Manager.
Bombo Gensan was the only radio station in General Santos City that sustained the issue of KAPA by repeatedly giving warnings to the innocent investing public on the risks of losing their hard-earned money and savings to a Ponzi Scheme that offered as much as 30% return every month will soon implode just like the numerous pyramiding and multi-level scams that victimized thousands. / edited by Bombo Sol Marquez
