Almost 20 followers and supporters of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) were injured and brought to the hospital right after the Philippine National Police (PNP) allegedly threw tear gas to the followers and supporters of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy in an operation to present the arrest warrant to the leader.

This is with regards to the ongoing investigation and hunt of the police to Quiboloy and four others for cases of rape, child abuse and human trafficking.

The KOJC was brought to the hospital at exactly 1am of August 24 after they experienced dizziness and hurt their eyes because of the tear gas thrown at them by the PNP PRO 11.

PNP PRO 11 Chief Director Nicolas Torre III immediately refuted the incident and assured the public that they didn’t use any tear gas for the operation.

Torre explained that one of the members of KOJC was the one who used a fire extinguisher at the police officers to drive the police away from the compound.

The denied accusations of the members were proven by Torre showing that his troop didn’t bring any gas mask against the tear gas that was allegedly used by the authorities.
