KORONADAL CITY – Critics of United States and South Korea urged their respective leaders to be cautious in reconciling with North Korea.

The meeting between U.S President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the demilitarized zone was both historical yet controversial in what was supposed to be an act of goodwill by America to Pyongyang.

According to Girlie Simpao Yoon, an overseas Filipino worker in Seoul, despite the positive reactions of South Korean president Moon Jae In’s mediation between Trump and Kim, others expressed concern and worry of what might be the outcome between the friendship of these two countries to the North Korean leader.

It may be possible that North Korea will take advantage of United States and South Korea’s relation to gradually conquer Seoul.

President Moon’s critics further warned that its relation to North Korea may be the catalyst of deposing him. / edited by Bombo Sol Marquez
