Proud at emosyonal na ibinahagi ni Miss Universe Philippines Design Council head Albert Andrada ang kanyang saya matapos nitong masaksihan ang performance ni Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo sa katatapos na preliminary competition kaninang umaga.
Sa exclusive interview ng Star FM Baguio kay Andrada, inamin nitong napakaraming pinagdaan ng beauty queen kaya naman tunay nilang ipinagmamalaki ang nakita nilang improvement sa dalaga.
“I’m so proud of her because I was with her from day one when she won and her improvement was enormous. People don’t really know the hardships that she went through— all those bashing. I’m so proud of her because she still stands so firm and strong. That’s what it takes to be a candidate of Miss Universe. I’m just emotional because, Rabiya, you are a very strong woman. We believe in you. I know the things you went through— those hardships and trials, but you’re still up there, very passionate and fighting for the crown. I know it’s not for the crown, I know it’s not for yourself, but I know you are doing this for the Philippines,” emosyonal na pagbabahagi ni Andrada.
Nagpakitang gilas nga si Rabiya sa katatapos na preliminary competition kung saan inirampa nito ang kanyang yellow evening gown at yellow swimsuit.
