The remains of the 35-year-old Overseas Filipino Worker in Kuwait whose burned body was found in the middle of the desert will be finally flown home after the government of Kuwait allowed the release and shipment of the body back to the Philippines.
It can be remembered that Jullebee Ranara, with four children, was brutally killed in Kuwait and her body was found on January 21, 2023.
The body of Ranara is expected to arrive today, January 27, 2023, at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
According to Philippine Charge d’ Affaires to Kuwait Jose Cabrera III, upon the arrival of Ranara’s body, the government will assist the family in claiming her remains. They also have a lawyer who will take charge of the case.
“Forensic examination and analysis of evidence is still in process and the Embassy will request access to information on the results and findings when these have been completed and forwarded to the prosecution,” Philippine Charge d’ Affaires to Kuwait Jose Cabrera III added.
Based on the initial investigation, she was raped, impregnated, beaten, and ran over by a car twice. She suffered from fractures to the skull, lower jaw, face, and brain laceration.
