Inanunsyo ni Tabaco City Mayor Krisel Lagman ang pagpanaw ng kaniyang amang si Albay 1st District Rep. Edcel Lagman sa edad na 82.
Sinasabing atake sa puso ang ikinamatay ng mambabatas, bandang alas-5:01 nitong Huwebes.
Si Lagman ay ipinanganak noong May 1, 1942.
Siya ay nagsilbing minority leader at iba pang posisyon sa Kamara.
Naging bahagi rin siya ng iba’t-ibang political party:

LDP (1988–2001)
LAMMP (1998–2001)
Lakas–CMD (2001–2012)
Siya ang presidente ng LP hanggang sa panahon ng kaniyang pagpanaw.
