Inianunsyo ngayon ng Malacañang ang pagtatalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kilalang musikero, negosyante at gitaristang si Ramon Pereyra “RJ” Jacinto bilang Presidential Adviser for Telecommunications na may ranggong Secretary.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, nilagdaan ni Pangulong Duterte ang appointment paper ni Jacinto noong Nobyembre 25, 2020.
Ayon kay Sec. Roque, hindi na bago si Jacinto sa Duterte administration dahil nakapagsilbi na ito sa iba’t ibang kapasidad.
Nagsilbi na umano ito bilang Presidential Adviser on Economic Affairs and Information Technology at bilang Undersecretary ng Department of information and Communications Technology (DICT).
“PA Jacinto has served the Duterte Administration in various capacities. He was the former Presidential Adviser on Economic Affairs and Information Technology and later became Undersecretary of the Department of information and Communications Technology. We are therefore confident that PA Jacinto would ably and effectively discharge his duties in this new assignment,” ani Sec. Roque.
