Makahulugan ang panibagong banat ni Vice Pres. Leni Robredo isang araw matapos iutos ng Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) ang paglalabas ng report sa manual recount ng electoral protest ni dating Sen. Bongbong Marcos.

Sa isang ambush interview nitong araw sa Pasay City, sinabi ni Robredo na hindi na sana gagastos ng malaki ang kampo ni Marcos kung simula pa lang ay tinanggap na nito ang kanyang pagkatalo.

Ito ang sagot ng bise presidente, nang sabihin ng abogado ni Marcos na si Atty. Vic Rodriguez na kailangang maghati ang dalawang kampo sa pagbabayad sa kaso ng electoral protest.

“Parang sila lang naman iyong may kagagawan ng case. Kung tinanggap na sana iyong pagkatalo, wala nang gastos, ‘di ba.”

“Hindi na (muna magbibigay ng bagong comment) kasi marami akong nasunog kahapon, eh. Na-trauma ako pagkatapos. Hindi, we’re waiting for the decision. Hopefully, we get it very soon kasi iyon naman iyong— Actually last week, that was the subject of our petition—for the PET to furnish the parties and the public a copy of what transpired and iyong results nga noong… results of the recount. Kasi hopefully, it will put to rest iyong lahat na mga false information na lumalabas.”

Sa ngayon hinihintay pa rin daw ng panig ni Robredo ang kopya ng report mula sa PET.

“Hindi pa. Wala pa. Waiting—we’re waiting for it.”
