The Supreme Court on Sunday announced the suspension of work in all courts in line with the nationwide transport strike on Monday, September 30.

Court Administrator Midas Marquez made the announcement.

She said they are expecting that most of their employees will be affected.

Marquez also cleared that it is the executive judges’ discretion to suspend court work outside Metro Manila.

Members of the Alliance of Concerned Transport Organization (ACTO) will be holding a transport strike to call for the suspension of the jeepney modernization program.
