Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ang isang school divisions officer, ayon sa Department of Education (DepEd).
Sa isang statement, sinabi ng DepEd na isa sa kanilang officers sa Mandaluyong City ay nagpositibo sa COVID-19>
Natukoy anila ito noong Marso 25, at hanggang sa ngayon ay nananatili pa rin ito sa ospital.
“The patient is confined at a hospital and is recovering. Our field units have provided assistance for his hospitalization,” saad ng DepEd.
Pero bago ito maospital, ilang competition events sa National Festival of Talents (NFOT) sa Iligan ang dinaluhan ng naturang pasyente.
Marso 9 ay pumunta pa ang pasyenteng ito sa Tuguegarao City para dumalo sa national education conference.
Gayunman, nakausap na rin ng DepEd ang mga katrabaho nito bago maospital, at isinailalim sa home quarantine ang mga delegado ng NFOT pati na rin ang National Schools Press Conference bago pa man nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ant naturang opisyal.
“We have coordinated with the DOH and no less than the Secretary of Health has instructed his staff to do an extensive contact tracing as it is still an imperative for an effective containment. The DOH will oversee the contact tracing and notification within and outside DepEd following their protocols,” saad ng DepEd.
