Itinaas na ng PAGASA sa Signal No. 4 sa Catanduanes at eastern portion ng Camarines Sur dahil sa papalit na Typhoon Rolly.
Batay sa severe weather bulletin ng ahensya nitong alas-8:00 ng gabi, namataan ang mata ng bagyo sa layong 280-kilometers silangan, hilagang-silangan ng Virac, Catanduanes.
Kabilang sa mga lugar sa Camarines Sur na nasa ilalim ng naturang tropical cyclone wind signal ang mga bayan ng: Siruma, Tinambac, Goa, Lagonoy, San Jose, Garchitorena, Presentacion, Caramoan.
Kumikilos patungong kanluaran, timog-kanluran ang bagyo sa bilis na 20-kilometers per hour. Ang lakas ng hangin nito ay nananatili sa 215-kilometers per hour malapit sa gitna, at pagbugsonng nanatili rin sa 265-kilometers per hour.
Ayon sa PAGASA, bukas ng umaga inaasahang magla-landfall sa Catanduanes si “Rolly,” bitbit ang malakas na hangin at ulan.
“Then it will pass over mainland Camarines Provinces tomorrow morning, and over mainland Quezon tomorrow afternoon.”
“After crossing the Southern Luzon – Metro Manila area, the center of “Rolly” is forecast to exit the mainland Luzon landmass on Monday early morning.”
Ngayong gabi ay makakaranas na raw ng mahina hanggang sa katamtaman at malakas na ulan ang buong Bicol region, Visayas at Quezon province.
Bukas naman daw asahan ang mabigat hanggang sa malakas na buhos ng ulan sa Metro Manila, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Aurora, Bulacan, Zambales, Bataan, Marinduque, Romblon, Occidental Mindoro, at Oriental Mindoro.
Habang katamtaman hanggang malakas na buhos din umano ang aasahan sa Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, at iba pang bahagi ng Central Luzon bukas.
“Flooding (including flash floods), rain-induced landslides, and sediment-laden streamflows (i.e. lahar) may occur during heavy or prolonged rainfall especially in areas that are highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards.”
Nagbabala ang weather bureau sa posibilidad ng storm surge o daluyong nang higit 3-meters sa hilagang coastal areas ng Quezon, kabilang na ang Polilio Islands, Camarines Provinces, at Catanduanes.
