Jullebee Ranara, a Filipina household worker who died in Kuwait, was laid to rest early on Sunday in Golden Haven Memorial Park in Las Piñas.
The slain 35-year-old overseas Filipino worker (OFW), burned body was found in the desert in Kuwait.
On January 28, her remains were returned to Manila.
According to reports, the suspect—the 17-year-old son of her employer—raped her and caused her to become pregnant.
Susan “Toots” Ople, secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers, said the suspect is already in police custody.
Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the foreign minister of Kuwait, earlier made a commitment to punished the perpretrator in the kiling of Ranara.
