KORONADAL CITY – Investors from South Cotabato filed a lawsuit against the controversial investment scam of Kabus Padatoon or Kapa Community Ministry International Inc. (KAPA) against its founder Joel Apolinario.
Recently, several ‘KAPA investors’ seek legal aid through Bombo Radyo Koronadal to formally file estafa case against their founder.
Among them is a senior citizen who invested P500,000. The lady felt depressed after hearing the news from President Rodrigo Duterte that Apolinario is nowhere to be found. She become anxious on how to recover her investment. Her anxiety grew when Apolinario declared his hiding due to threat on his life and there was no way to recover the invested money due to freezing of its bank accounts .
In spite of this, Bombo Radyo Koronadal continues to encourage all victims of South Cotabato to file a case against Apolinario.
Lawyer Jamilla Estares, officer-in-charge in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) located in Davao City, decided to put up a help desk intended for the victims of various investment schemes in the region and nearby provinces.
