One thing is for sure, Stephen Curry did a great job hosting the return of the 2022 Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly (ESPY) Awards.
The 2022 NBA Finals MVP printed his mark on the awards night by, of course, the traditional roasting of athletes, one of which includes LeBron James.
“LeBron James, he hosted this award show back in 2007, after losing in the NBA Finals,” he said while sipping his glass of drink.
“So yes, you guessed it, this feels better, this feels better.”
He also never let roasting Boston slide. Wearing a light green suit Curry took a hit at Grant Williams who was also present in the event.
“I know you like this color, I’ll let you borrow it when I’m done. I might even let you wear the ring,” he said.
It was a fun night for everyone, especially for Curry, who was later named the Best NBA Player of 2022.
