Nais umano ni four-division world champion Mikey García na lumaban pa nang isang beses sa huling dalawang buwan ng 2019.
Ayon kay Garcia, ito raw ay upang mabigyan ito ng tsansa na makaharap si WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao sa isang mega-bout sa susunod na taon.
“We haven’t decided what we’re going to do, but what I’d like to do is make a fight before the end of the year and then look for a big fight, with someone like Manny Pacquiao,” wika ni Garcia.
Inihayag ni Garcia na napabilib daw ito sa panalo ni Pacquiao nitong Hulyo kontra sa mas batang si Keith Thurman.
Samantala, inamin ni Garcia na kabi-kabila umano ang alok sa kanya ng iba’t ibang mga promotional entities, gaya ng Premier Boxing Champions, Eddie Hearn ng Matchroom, at maging sa dati nitong promoter na si Bob Arum ng Top Rank.
“In the next few days we will say what we’re going to do. We know that good things are coming, personally I would not like to enter a contract for multiple fights, because I’d like to keep myself a free agent… it has worked for me so far. I feel good, but let’s see what happens. There are options on the table, and we will soon make a decision,” ani Garcia.
