One month after the Miss Universe pageant concluded, the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) organization released a poster with the text, “The Return” for the MUPh 2024 edition, yesterday.
The pageant fans hyped the comment section, looking forward to the famous national pageant. Many pageant spectators mentioned several veteran beauty queens such as the Miss International 2018 1st runner-up Athisa Manalo; Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Bernardo; Miss Universe Philippines 2021 1st runner-up Katrina Dimaranan; and Miss Supranational 2023 1st runner-up and the first The Miss Philippines queen Pauleen Amelincx. However, none of the pageant bets responded to the fans’ request nor declared their participation in the said pageant.
Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa also engaged in the comment section, commenting “Itabi nyo.. ako na….. ang mag checheer jan,” while fans enthusiastically replied to their so-called “Mareng MJ.”
As of now, there are no announcements regarding the pageant screening date.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe Philippines’ sister organization The Miss Philippines will add one crown of options, as they announced their partnership with Miss Asia Pacific International.
The Miss Philippines is a new national pageant that crowns several titles such as The Miss Philippines, which was won by Alethea Ambrosio of Bulacan last October; Miss Supra National; Miss Charm; and the recently added Miss Asia Pacific International.
