The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) shall implement road closures and traffic rerouting plan around the National Museum, Manila City, and other areas where events will be held in connection with the Inauguration of President-Elect Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. who will take his oath as the 17th President of the Philippines on June 30.
I. SCHEDULE OF ROAD CLOSURES:
JUNE 26, at 12:01 AM to JUNE 30, 11:00 PM:
• Padre Burgos Avenue
• Finance Road
• Ma. Orosa Street – from TM Kalaw to P. Burgos
• General Luna Street – from P. Burgos to Muralla Street

• Victoria Street – from Taft Avenue to Muralla Street
REROUTING OF PUBLIC UTILITY AND PRIVATE VEHICLES
• Northbound vehicles coming from Roxas Blvd. should turn right at U.N. Avenue or Kalaw Avenue, then turn left at Taft Avenue to reach the point of destination.
• Eastbound vehicles coming from Roxas Blvd. should turn left at Kalaw Avenue or U.N. Avenue, then turn right at Taft Ave. to reach the point of destination.
RE-ROUTING OF TRUCKS
Northbound
• All northbound trucks coming from South Luzon Expressway (SLEX): take Osmeña Highway, turn left at Quirino Ave. then turn right at Roxas Blvd., go straight to Bonifacio Drive going to the point of destination. However, Roxas Blvd (from Buendia to P. Burgos) will be closed to traffic on June 30 from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Another alternate route for northbound trucks: from SLEX, go straight ahead to Osmeña Highway then turn right at Quirino Avenue, go straight to Nagtahan St. and to Lacson Avenue, then turn left at Yuseco St., go straight ahead to Capulong St. then turn right to R-10 Rd. to reach the point of destination.
Southbound
• All southbound trucks: from Bonifacio Drive, go straight to Roxas Blvd., turn left at Quirino Avenue, then turn right at Osmeña Highway and go straight to SLEX to reach the point of destination. However, Roxas Blvd (from Buendia to P. Burgos) will be closed to traffic on June 30 from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• All vehicles coming from Sampaloc area Earnshaw St. intending to pass through Legarda St. should turn left at Manrique St. to reach the point of destination.
• All vehicles coming from Sta. Mesa area via Legarda St. intending to pass through Mendiola St. should turn right at M.F. Jhocson St., left at Lardizabal St. to reach the point of destination.
• All vehicles coming from P. Casal St. intending to pass through Mendiola St. should turn left at Arlegui St. to reach the point of destination.
• All vehicles coming from Quezon Blvd. and C.M. Recto Ave. intending to pass through Mendiola St. should turn left at N. Reyes St. or right at S. H. Loyola to reach the point of destination.

• From R-10 via C3, Sgt. Rivera St., Araneta Avenue to reach the point of destination
• From McArthur Hi-way and NLEX via EDSA to reach the point of destination
• From Balintawak via Metro Manila Skyway to reach the point of destination
ALTERNATE ROUTES FROM SOUTH TO NORTH OF METRO MANILA
• From Roxas Blvd. via EDSA to reach the point of destination
• From SLEX via C5 to Congressional Avenue going to Mindanao Avenue to reach the point of destination
• From SLEX via EDSA to reach the point of destination
• From SLEX via Metro Manila Skyway to reach the point of destination
Incoming Cabinet members, diplomats, legislators, members of the Judiciary, international and local media, and other guests are expected to attend the inauguration to be held at the National Museum grounds before noon.
MMDA Chairman Romando S. Artes said the agency will deploy 2,000 personnel from the Traffic Discipline Office, the Metro Public Safety Office, and the Sidewalk Clearing Operations Group for traffic management, clearing operations, and emergency response. Tow trucks and ambulances will also be dispatched to strategic locations for quick response when needed.
The MMDA, in close coordination with the Presidential Security Group, City Government of Manila, Manila Police District, and National Capital Region Police Office, is tasked to ensure the participants’ seamless movement and traffic management.
