Inihahanda na umano ni President Donald Trump ang kaniyang plano para sa mistulang banta sa seguridad ng Estados Unidos na dala ng sikat ngayon na Chinese software.

Sinabi ito ni US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo matapos kumpirmahing binabalak ng Microsoft na bilhin ang U.S. operations ng TikTok na siyang dahilan ng national security at censorship concers ng Trump administration.

“These Chinese software companies doing business in the United States, whether it’s TikTok or WeChat — there are countless more … are feeding data directly to the Chinese Communist Party, their national security apparatus,” saad ni Pompeo.

“Could be their facial recognition patterns. It could be information about their residence, their phone numbers, their friends, who they’re connected to. Those — those are the issues that President Trump has made clear we’re going to take care of,”

Ayon sa TikTok, lahat ng impormasyon sa mga American nationals na gumagamit ng naturang video sharing application ay nakatago sa data base ng Amerika kung saan tanging mga empleyado lamang ang may access dito. Karamihan din umano ng mga investor ay galing sa US.

Kasalukuyan nang inaaral ng federal committee kung posible na ipagbawal sa buong Amerika ang TikTok makaraang magbanta si Trump hinggil dito.
