Itinuturing na kakaibang uri ng bagyo ang typhoon Ursula dahil sa pananatili ng lakas nito kahit naka-apat nang landfall, simula kahapon ng hapon.
Una itong tumama sa Salcedo, Eastern Samar (4:45 PM Dec. 24, 2019); Tacloban City, Leyte (7:30 PM Dec. 24, 2019); Cabucgayan, Biliran (9:15 PM Dec. 24, 2019); Gigantes Islands, Carles, Iloilo (2:30 AM Dec. 25, 2019).
Paliwanag ng Pagasa, maliliit na isla ang dinadaanan nito kaya hindi gaanong naaapektuhan ang taglay na lakas ng hangin.
Sa kasalukuyan ay nananalasa ang bagyo sa Western Visayas at mga karatig na lugar.
Huling namataan ang sentro ng typhoon Ursula sa layong 40 km sa silangan hilagang silangan ng Roxas City, Capiz.
Mayroon itong maximum sustained winds na 140 kph at may gustiness na 195 kph.
Kumikilos ang bagyo nang pakanluran hilagang kanluran sa bilis na 25 kph.
