After the cancelled Dubois vs Parker fight last February 22, 2025 in Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Oleksandr Usyk called out Daniel Dubois for a rematch.
“I want to fight next with Dubois,” blurted Usyk – unified WBA, WBC, WBO heavyweight world champion and the Ring magazine title holder.
The Ring Magazine reported that Dubois is sick thus he pulled out the IBF heavyweight title defence vs Joseph Dennis Parker.
Last August 6, 2023 Usyk (23 victories and undefeated) knocked down Dubois (22 wins and 2 Loss) in the 9th round at Stadion Wrocław, Wrocław, Poland. The fight is controversial due to thealleged beltline punch that put Usyck down in the fifth round. Usyk won by KO.
“Usyk, I want my revenge. I want my revenge Usyk. Well done on tonight, well done on tonight. God bless. I want my revenge for the robbery last time. Let’s get it, let’s go.” Dubois exclaimed after the Tyson Fury vs Usyk rematch last December 2024.
As of this writing there is no confirmation yet when they will clash again.
