The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued Weather Advisory No. 39, warning of heavy rainfall brought by the Shear Line and Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) over several parts of the country.

• Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm) Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Marinduque, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, and Northern Samar
Tomorrow Noon to Friday Noon (December 27)
• Heavy to Intense (100-200 mm) Aurora, Quezon, and Isabela
• Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm) Cagayan, Apayao, Camarines Norte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental
Friday Noon to Saturday Noon (December 28)
• Heavy to Intense (100-200 mm) Cagayan and Isabela
• Moderate to Heavy (50-100 mm) Apayao, Aurora, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental
Forecasted rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas, with potential exacerbation of impacts due to prior significant rainfall.
PAGASA urges the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices to take necessary precautions to safeguard lives and properties. Local authorities may issue Heavy Rainfall Warnings, Thunderstorm Advisories, and other severe weather updates as needed.
