VIctor Wembanyama ranked 3rd best NBA player under 25 even after being compared to seven footer Phoenix Suns center Bol Bol last November 8, 2023.
When Wemby team won vs Phoenix Suns (132 – 121) last November 3, 2023, former Lakers superstar Shaq O’Neal weighed him up against Bol Bol.
“Wembanyama is just way more consistent than Bol Bol, but Bol Bol is the first seven-footer that we see doing that.” Shaq said in the NBA on TNT.
Spurs point guard Wemby was controversial before and after his NBA debut. He recorded 38 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks vs Phoenix Suns.
It can be recalled that Bol Bol signed up last July 18, 2023 to the Phoenix Suns for one year.
However, Shaq is not impressed as he praised 23 year old Bol Bol more than Wemby.
Meanwhile, ESPN reported the Top 25 Players under 25. Dallas’ Luka Doncic ranked first while Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards got the second place. The Spurs rookie Wemby is at the 3rd.
Unfortunately, a South Sudanese-American Bol Bol is not in the list and not even present vs Spurs.
