At least 24 people died in a wildfire in Chile including two firefighters.
It left 1,000 people injured, and 26 in critical condition, while 1,475 people evacuated and were forced to stay in shelters.
Around 270,000 hectares of forest were devastated based on the official data.
Further, a state of emergency was declared in the affected areas in the central-southern regions of La Araucania, Ñuble, and Biobío.
As of now, Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia are coordinating to help in firefighting.
Chile is experiencing high temperatures and drought, it is expected to last until Wednesday.
Based on the forecasted temperature, it reached at least 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and strong winds in the area might worsen the fire.
