Thirteen places in California were declared under a state of emergency as the winter storm surged in the said state.
According to California Governor Gavin Newsom, San Bernardina County was one of the most affected areas, including Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
Due to the winter storm, 70,000 houses are experiencing power interruption.
Some of the residents in San Bernardino County were trapped in their houses and others were evacuated.
As of now, the rescue operation is ongoing.
